Trimming the Tree

This is the first year Jonah could help with the tree. He loved being able to put "ormomets" where he wanted to. There was only a few casualties. It was so precious seeing the twinkle in his eyes, he truly has the Christmas spirit!

Grandma Rox and Grandpa Steve

I Spy....

Can you find: 2 Pugs, 3 kids, 3 super heros and 2 adults?

Daddy Little Sous Chef

John makes a very tasty Dream Whip pie and Jonah was all too willing to help. He loves to be involved with every aspect of cooking....especially the licking of the spatula!

I Love Chocolate...and Grandma!

We always celebrate Grandma Maggy and Uncle Rick's birthday's on Thanksgiving because they are so close. Jonah has two of his favorite things in one night, no really three things: 1) Grandma Maggy, 2) Chocolate Frosting and 3) Singing "Happy Birthday".

Silly Kids!

It was Olivia's idea to make silly faces, it was so cute. Madeline is so good with the kids, she always makes sure they have something to keep them busy and entertains them so the moms and dads can get dinner ready. Jonah loves to spend time with her and she always makes him laugh.

To Cool for Sweaters!

Jonah decided to take off his sweater and go with the "white trash" Thanksgiving attire. Oh well, at least he was comfortable. He had so much fun running around with the cousins, visitng grandparents, great grand parents, great great grandma, Auntie Lori and Uncle Matt.

Iowa Visit

We had a very nice visit with Uncle Mike(y), Aunt Kristen, Cousin Angelina and many other family member that ventured out to Iowa. It was a 6.5 hour drive but Jonah did very well in the car. John and I were suprised how well he actually did. The Backyardigan's DVD saved us! Also Gramma Maggy bought him a magnetic coloring board and some new books which helped to pass the time.

Happy Birthday Alex!

We celebrated Alex's 5th Birthday (11-7) on November 4. Jonah had so much fun wearing the Transformer masks with his cousin Ben. There are more and more kids at the parties, it is fun to sit back and watch the chaos!

Jonah's Makeover

With the advice of his hair stylist at Cookie Cutters Jonah was given a spikey do with hair product applied too! He LOVES his hair and I think it makes him look even older than he already does. He took pride in showing off his haircut. I think she has created a monster!

"Momma, I mixin!'"

I bought Jonah some kitchen gadgets and he loves to make me food to eat. Usually he serves me cake, pizza and Jello all in the same bowl stirred together with the mixer....YUMMY!

Fall Clean UP

John and were cleaning up the yard and Jonah was supposed to be playing with the sand and instead he decided to sit IN the sandbox. He also was very happy that Daddy brought home his jetski so he can ride on it every day, in the garage that is.

A Proud Day

Today was one of the most rewarding days I have had in a long time. I was so lucky to be able to spend the afternoon with Jonah at his school. I read the kids stories, played outside with them and helped to make "scary hands" (popcorn and candy corn in gloves). It was so cool watching how Jonah interacts with his friends and I was amazed at what a great group of kids they have there. They all play very well together and Miss Debbie seems to have a handle on their every move.
I never am able to stay and visit due to my work schedule so I jumped at the opportunity to do so today. It is a weird feeling but today I really felt like I was looking in on his secret life. We never know how he really acts with everyone there but it is obvious that he is quite a popular little boy!

The Excitement Builds...

Jonah was so excited all day just waiting to go out and Trick or Treat! He was so happy to be putting his costume on and hamming it up for the camera. How can you resist this face?

Off We GO!

John took Jonah through the neighborhood and they had so much fun. Jonah did really well with saying "trick or treat!" and "Thank you!". We are so lucky to live in a neighborhood that has so many kids that participate in Halloween.

The Loot

Jonah had a very successful trip around the nieghborhood. He filled up his bucket and only ate one piece of candy tonight. He was more interested in running around and watching the other kids than actually eating the candy. (His Hygienist Mommy taught him well!)

Yucky Gross!!

Jonah was not a fan of the texture of the seeds and the pulp. I really tried to get him interested in it but I was not very successful.

Our Punkins!

Monkey See...

Since Jonah will not see Great Great Grandma B. on Halloween, we wanted her to have a chance to see his costume. She was just chuckling watching him run around acting like a Monkey.
