A Day Out With Thomas

For my Mother's Day celebration we went to see Thomas the Train at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Mi...I cannot think of a better way to celebrate being a Mom than to watch your son in total awe and amazement of his most favorite thing...Thomas the Train

Walking with Dinosaurs

Grandma Maggy and Grandpa Jeff took us to see the Walking with Dinosaurs show at the Huntington Arena. It was a very neat show, Jonah loved every minute of it...just a little too much noise from the T-Rex. Overall he had a great experience!

Iowa Visit 2010

We had the most wonderful visit with Angelina, Mike and Kristen at the end of April. Jonah and his cousin had a great connection. They share a love of trains and tractors (it must be genetic). It was so sad when we had to leave because they did have so much fun together!! It is hard not having them in our town but we definitely made the most of our visit!!

Happy 104th Birthday Great Great Grandma B.

It is so special that we are able to celebrate 104 years of life for the most wonderful woman in the world. Great Great Grandma B. is an amazing human being. It would be nearly impossible to find anyone who has something negative to say about her, she is a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. What a fabulous example she has set for all of us to follow in order to have a full life. We love her so much! Jonah has a very special relationship with her, he loves to go visit her at Sunset house and he enjoys helping her get around with her walker. There are very few people that he will run up and hug without hesitation but with her he has an instant connection. To see her light up when we make our weekly visits is precious..we are so blessed!!

Let HER eat cake!

This was a hilarious moment. Jonah thought he could help Great Great Grandma B. blow out her candles...NOT! She made sure that he was not going to have a chance to blow them out. I think they are both at the same stage in life...about 100 years between them but the attitudes are about the same..."I can do it myself!" Precious memories!

Sunset House Visit

We love our visits to Great Great Grandma B.'s house. There is a beautiful pond in the back and quite a few ducks to watch. Grandma enjoys watching Jonah run around and act crazy...as we all do!
