Visiting with B.

Jonah enjoys going to visit with his B. (Great Great Grandma B.) They have a very special connection. Grandma loves him to pieces and constanly reminds him how special he is. Since she is 103 years old her memory is starting to fade but she never forgets who her special little boy is! At every visit she recounts the first time she held him, she remembers coming to our house right when we came home from the hospital. Grandma always says that she knew he was special when she saw him for the first time. No one would ever get sick of hearing that phrase and I know I never will!

Snow and Ice

After shoveling again we took a walk to the pond and Jonah walked on the ice for the first time. We watched some of the little girls from the neighborhood ice skating and Jonah was fascinated. He said that he can't wear ice skates yet and I didn't disagree with him...not ready for the ER yet.

We had a great experience at the Hands-On Museum in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Jonah and I went with Grandma Maggy and Grandpa Jeff for the Bob the Builder exhibit which is there for a limited time. We all enjoyed the museum and actually learned some new information as well! I highly recommend it!

Brrr...

We try to get outside every day for at least a few minutes, he loves it!! I took a picture of our foot prints and it seem a little wierd to me that his feet don't look that much smaller than mine. I wear a 12 and he wears a 12.5 in kids...he is obviously following in Grandpa Jeff's footsteps!

Jingle Bells

The video is dark but all you need to do is listen to Jonah's rendition of Jingle Bells on the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house and it will put a smile on your face!

Christmas Morning Part 1

Since we had such a crazy schedule for the Christmas Holiday we decided to get up early and open gifts then go out to Grandma and Maggy's and Grandpa Jeff's to open gifts with the Aunts and Uncles and cousin Lina. Crazy excitement consumed Jonah as he saw all of the presents with his name on them...oooh boy!

The Mann Family Portrait

This is almost a complete family picture. Unfortunately the Pelker famliy could not make it back here from Kansas for Christmas. Our cousin Chris is in the Army and was not approved to come home so he and my cousin Nikki and their daughter Olivia weren't here for the first time ever! We sure missed them!

NO Santa!!

This year we did not get a picture of Jonah with Santa because he would not have anything to do with him at all. When Santa arrived he made it a point to tell him (from acroaa the room) we are going to leave him cookies and that we put food out for the reindeer and that was the end of his conversation with Santa. When he was called upon to come up and receive his present he wouldn't budge...Santa was so sweet and walked his present over to him and Jonah sat in shock and said nothing. Maybe next year he will be more brave.
