The Pirate Treasure Cake

I thought for months on what I was going to do for his cake. I came up with this idea of the buried treasure on the beach. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, including the Birthday boy!

The Piles of Presents

I don't know how 1 child could even play with all of the toys he received in a lifetime! We are so lucky to have so many friends and family who care about him!

Pre-Birthday Celebration

As a treat for Jonah's Birthday I took him to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch since I would rather be anywhere else on earth than that place for dinner! It was much less crowded and we were able to play without all the white trash in Toledo pushing him around. Grandma Maggy and Auntie Lori came to play too. That night we went out to Grandma and Poppa's house for dinner and I took some photos of the soon to be Birthday boy!

Devil's Lake 2009

Every year we go to Devil's Lake to enjoy a weekend of family time and also celebrate Poppa/Dad's Birthday. We always have a great time, no matter what the weather decides to do. Aunt Kristen, Uncle Mikey, Cousin Lina, Uncle Matt, Aunt Lori, Grandma Maggy, and Poppa were all there at one point or another. We even had some friends stop over for a visit. Jonah loves hanging out with his cousin and does pretty well sharing, but he IS a toddler so sometimes that is difficult. We don't get to spend too much time together so we love taking full advantage of every opportunity!

Fishing Fun!

We went out to Bowling Green (Haskins) Ohio for our cousin Evan's 14th Birthday. Jonah had fun Fishing, jumping on the trampoline, playing with the chickens, and riding in the paddle boat. We all had a great time down on the "farm"!

Let's Play Ball!

Jonah LOVED watching his cousins play T-Ball...he was the LOUDEST cheerleader! It was so funny watching him run on and off the bases, he ended up joining them in the outfield. The YMCA league is a little more relaxed than professional baseball I guess.

Matt and Lori's Wedding

Matt and Lori were married on June 6, 2009...I have now just been able to add photos. As you will be able to see, Jonah was the Ring Bearer and at the rehearsal was very happy about it. However, at the wedding, not so much! Well, he made it down the aisle and I am thankful for that at least.

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Bartkowiak!!
