Great Apes

Most of the animals at the Zoo were lazy this morning. It was a beautiful day so we enjoyed walking around even though there was not much action.

Momma a BEER!

Well he knows his animal names but not quite the way to pronounce them. The polar bear babies are not babies anymore. It is getting hard to tell the difference between the Momma and the twin girls.

The Perry Landscape

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Meyers have a beautiful view of the Power Plants. Jonah thought the towers were "heavy" [big].

Pile-Up!

Every member in the Meyers Family has been involved in a pile-up at least once in their lives.

Spider Girl

Jonah was in awe watching his cousin Ella climb the wall. He tried to do it to and was able to climb with my help.

Go Junior!

Jonah likes to watch Nascar just like Daddy. He also has the "redneck" wardrobe to go with most of the other fans!! (Sorry John)

Mechanic at Work

Jonah had a great time "helping" Daddy. He hooked bungee cords to the bumper to tow the Jet-Ski (well, he thought that would work) . He checked the tires with the gauge. He use the wrench to tighten the hitch. He was so proud of himself!

Play Yo

Jonah Loves his PlayDough or Play Yo as he calls it. He loves to roll it into a snake and cut it with his knife. I have lost the battle of trying to keep the colors separated.

Midnight Run

Well we arrived in Traverse City at 11:00 pm and Jonah was raring to go. He loved riding around on the luggage cart especially in the elevator. "Wanna Riiiide!"

Mission Point Lighthouse

This was Jonah's first visit to a lightouse. Traverse City is such a neat place to explore. He had so much fun playing with the rocks in the sand and walking up and down the beach.

Good Olde Days!

We went to a neat old general store by Old Mission Point Lighthouse. Jonah was in awe with all of the barrels of candy, he decided on this sucker.

Wow, What a BIG Sail!

Little Monkey

Jonah loved being on the BIG SAILBOAT! He was not scared to be jumping around on the nets. Everyone on the boat was kept entertained by his antics.

Happy 80th Birthday!

We were so lucky to be with Jonah's Great Grandma Mann for her 80th birthday. We all had such a good time and we will have wonderful memories of our time together as a family!

Auntie Lori's Influence

Our Boy

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful son!

What a Crew!

Pool Party!

Jonah had so much fun in the pool, this was only his second time in one. He is used to the lake and I don't think he expected the chlorine.

Nap Time

Jonah played hard this weekend and it was nice that he was able to sleep for part of the 4.5 hour drive home.

No...that isn't Michael Phelps!

Jonah had fun helping Daddy buils a sand castle. He looks so cute in his swim outfit.

Buddies Forever

Jonah and Ben have quite a special bond. They always play so well together and they seem to like doing the same things. It is so cute watching them interact.

Night Time

It has been a long day of playing and swimming. You can tell by his face...he is ready for bed!

CORN!

Jonah loves corn on the cob...but who doesn't?

Stylin' Specs

Running Free

Alex, Ben and Jonah love to be at the sand bar or the"sand dune" as Ben calls it. We were there at 9 in the morning before there were any other boats. It was nice to have the place to ourselves.

Rub a Dub Dub Three Boys in a Tub!

This photo will haunt the boys for the rest of their lives!

Swimmin'

This is the first time Jonah went swimming in the deep water of Coldwater Lake. I had to tread water for what seemed like an eternity. He LOVES to float and swim with me. I am so glad he enjoys the water just as much as I do!

Washing the Truck

Jonah had so much fun helping Daddy wash Mommy's truck. I think he wore more water and soap than the truck did.
