Hard to believe Fall is here! Jonah is 6 and he started 1st Grade at Highland Elementary in Sylvania and he loves it. Jacoby is 8 months and is at JMLC following in his big brother's footsteps. They are growing up so fast!! He is crawling like crazy and pulling up on furniture, oh boy!
Jonah has obviously learned alot by watching John work. he has great hand-eye coordination and loves to hit the nails with the hammer. I think that he has the same love for tools as his daddy!
Jonah loves going over to help Grandma Rox with her puppies. He is so gentle with the dogs and they seem to be drawn to him. He is like a little Dr. Doolittle.
Well we have most of the family in a picture...it is a rare opportunity. Uncle Tom is in from California for Grandpa's 90th Birthday. Nicholas was here for his first family portrait. Eric was at Bristol Motor Speedway but was here in spirit.
I just had to put this picture on here because I love the way the light is reflecting off of the water onto his face. I just love looking at him and I am amazed how quickly he is growing up!
Jonah searches for the perfect rock to throw into the water. The bigger the better! Each time he has to show you what he finds and announces, "OOHH, a BIG one!"
Every summer at the lake we look forward to our Zesto's ice cream. Mandi and Bryon gave Jonah the nickname Zesto-S'more during my pregnancy because I had one of the two treats when we were at the lake on the weekends. We knew that Jonah would love the ice cream just as much as we do!
To finish off his day of fun, Jonah had a little bowl of ice cream which he ate with his bull dozer spoon that Uncle Mike and Aunt Kristen gave him for his Birthday. (It is the only spoon he uses now)
We took Jonah to the Mayberry Dream Cruise and he had a blast. He loves cars and this was the perfect way to spend his special day. Daddy and Jonah had a nice talk with Tom Wilkinson and admired all of the perfectly pristine cars.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Meyers for the fire rescue car. Jonah loves to talk on the C.B. like a phone, check the gas, and close the door all by himself. He has been driving all over the place!
Jonah loves his new ball house. He loves to hide underneath the balls, count them and tell me what colors they are. This house has provided hours of fun.
Jonah is a ham as you all know...I could not decide which one photo to post. He has learned to say, "I'm two" and hold up two fingers...not really the traditional two but it works.
This is the tree that John planted the week after Jonah was born. We are planning on taking a picture in front of it every year on his birthday to see how thay have grown.
We were so lucky to have Lori and Matt at the lake to spend time with Jonah. He LOVES being around Matt...much to Lori's disappointment he runs to him every time he walks into the room.
